First Year

My first year experience started out as I assume most peoples time at uni does; consisting of lots of drinking and not a lot of sleep. Despite feeling a little homesick and missing my mates, I loved every second of freshers and the beginning of my university experience. 

- going into uni the degree I was doing was plain old computing (before specialising into Software Engineering)

• my student halls had a big flood one night where the whole building had to be evacuated. The whole accomodation was moved into various hotels in bournemouth. Unluckily my flat was one of the very few actually damaged with mine and my flatmates rooms being flooded.

First Year Projects

in the first semester of first year I had three units,

• computer Fundamentals (GPUs vs CPU, GPU safety when used as co-processor)
• Principles of Programming (Weekly java tasks)
• Networks and Cyber Security (Cisco packet tracer)

I also done three exams.
